Shri Yusufkhan Pathan is a prominent figure involved in the development and management of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) estates. He oversaw infrastructure projects across 235 estates in 33 districts, including power, water and utility systems. Under his leadership, 2,24,000 acres of land were selected, developed and treated with the most up-to-date technology to transform raw water into usable water. This included power planning and power supply throughout the land projects. Under his leadership, GIDC continues to manage a power capacity of 4,360 MW, serving diverse industrial sectors like automotive, pharma, and textiles. He has also facilitated large-scale industrial clusters such as PM MITRA, Pharma Park and PCPIR, focusing on sustainable infrastructure and energy solutions. His work emphasizes efficient resource management, renewable energy implementation, and strategic industrial development in Gujarat.
